Remote mechanical handling for nuclear retrievals and decommissioning

Our catalogue of projects covers legacy retrievals, waste packaging, ILW (intermediate-level waste) movements and decommissioning. We source industry-proven equipment and modify it for what nuclear work demands, such as radiation tolerance, remote operation and load arrest. Where the task needs it, we design fully bespoke, high-integrity systems.
Operators control these systems from safe locations, using CCTV, automation, anti-collision and remote recovery. Functional safety to IEC 61508 standards and our MotoSuiveur load arrest system add further layers of protection, from concept and commissioning through to in-service support.
