Job Summary

To proactively manage customer relationships in order to increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new business.

Additional Information:

  • This is a remote role working from home but assigned to a base branch where there is access to office resources as required
  • Branch to be confirmed dependant on home location
  • Patch will cover the following postcodes; YO, HU, DN, LN, NG, PE
  • There will be realistic sales targets to achieve in relation to turnover and profitability.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contact and visit existing customers on a regular basis to maximize sales opportunities
  • Develop relationships with new customers and generate new trade accounts
  • Reconnect relationships with dormant customers
  • Deal with customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner.


Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Proven track record of working in a customer focused sales role
  • Effective communicator both face to face and over the telephone
  • Be flexible, well organised and able to work unsupervised using own initiative
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience and knowledge of electrical components ideally within the wholesale market.
