Company Information

  • The Service Department deals with preventative maintenance contracts (PPM), breakdowns on a 24-hour basis, service follow up work (SFU), spare parts and all after sales activities associated within Street CraneXpress.
  • The company consists of over 60 of employees, around 15-20 of which deal with incoming customer queries via the telephone between 8.45–17:00 Monday–Friday.

Job Summary

To proactively source new customers through securing Preventative Maintenance contracts in a professional manner that maximises Street CraneXpress Ltd’s order book and profitability.

Additional Information

  • The department currently manages over 700 different service contract customers ranging from small fabrication shops to large multinational automotive manufacturers.
  • This is a high profile role and you will have the opportunity to make a marked impact within Street CraneXpress’s business.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Raise purchase orders on Navision.
  • Proactively sourcing new customers and expanding our existing customer base across different industries and promoting our value-added services through our Advanced Crane Diagnostics programme.
  • Working closely with SCX Special Projects division and following up bespoke installations with our own bespoke Advanced Crane Diagnostics preventative maintenance solutions.
  • Making initial contact, quoting and following up new opportunities on all Street Crane Company’s new crane installations.
  • Acting on and maximising the potential revenue from all new Preventative Maintenance enquiries received into the office.
  • Assisting in the ongoing management of existing key accounts alongside identifying potential new ones.
